Buy for 5 700 ₽VPN for Instagram
Updated
Where Instagram is blocked or filtered, the app shows an empty feed and instagram.com won’t load. With Bebra VPN on, the feed, Stories, Reels and your own uploads all travel through whichever country you tapped.
Getting Instagram to load
Install Bebra VPN
Get it from the App Store on iPhone, from Google Play on Android, or as an APK for phones without Google Play. Computers running Windows, macOS or Linux get a desktop version.
Tap a country
You won’t be asked to register. The app makes an account for the device by itself. A new account has no subscription yet, so the first tap brings up the Buy Bebra VPN sheet, where you can start the trial or pick a plan. After that, a tap connects, and the status under the title changes to Connected to and the country name.
Reopen Instagram
Close Instagram completely and start it again, so it stops waiting on the old connection.
Keep local sites on your own connection
Out of the box, Bebra VPN carries all of the phone’s traffic. That suits Instagram, but your bank or a government portal at home may refuse a foreign address.
Open the Tunnel tile and switch to Manual. Type the domains that should go direct, one per line, such as your bank’s site or your tax office. Instagram stays on the VPN.
On Android the same mode also has Apps that bypass the VPN, for leaving out a whole app such as your banking one.
When an upload stalls
Bebra VPN may have spotted the trouble before you did. If a Bad connection banner sits at the top of the app, tap Fix the problem. In up to two minutes the app either gives the server fresh IP addresses or, if that isn’t enough, switches multihop on. With no banner, the same check lives under Account → Settings → Find working server.
Then open Tunnel. In Manual mode everything on your list skips the VPN, so if instagram.com ended up there, delete that line.

Instagram questions
Do calls in Direct work?
Not always. Sometimes chat messages go through fine and a call over the VPN still won’t ring. Switching countries and calling again can help.
Reels take a long time to start
Pick a country near you. A shorter route means videos start sooner. If every country is slow, run the server check from the section above.
Is there a browser extension?
No. Bebra VPN is an app for Windows, macOS and Linux, and once it’s connected, every browser on the computer uses it.
